- A little sun never hurt anyone
- But sunscreen is necessary
- Take a walk
- The worst that can happen is someone will tell you “No.”

- It’s never too late
- A career evolves over a lifetime, you don’t have to decide anything today
- Make it from scratch
- The easiest way to watch your diet is to eat colorful food
- Don’t point out that pimple on your chin; no one will notice it unless you ask them to
- It’s better to be overdressed than underdressed
- If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all
- Always write thank you notes
- Get more fresh air
- Be comfortable taking yourself out to dinner; it’s a skill to learn how to enjoy time with yourself. And a gift.
- You can’t take back words, so use them carefully
- A handful of crushed fresh rosemary can disinfect and freshen your hands if you are outside and don’t have a way to wash up
- Everything in moderation
- Don’t worry about things being perfect, worry about enjoying yourself
- You can never have too many desserts at a party
- Have more dinner parties
- Use real china, real silverware, cloth napkins
- Learn how to count to 10
- Appreciate your talent
- Other people’s problems are their problems, not yours
- Wear makeup, but not so much you are uncomfortable without it
